Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the EAA Compliance CXAE team in Charlotte, NC. You will develop user-facing features across Golang and React, ship integrations, and optimize compliance workflows.

The role emphasizes building AI-first applications, scalable services on AWS and Kubernetes, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. Based in Charlotte, the role is not fully remote and requires in-person surges as part of Coinbase’s remote-first policy.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building web applications with at least one modern backend language and a frontend framework.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployment environments.
• Experience with distributed systems concepts such as caching, event-driven architectures, or API integrations.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through documentation, design proposals, or code reviews.
• Uses generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end development of user-facing features across the compliance agent platform using Golang, React, and cloud technologies.
• Lead assessment, selection, and implementation of third-party tools and vendor integrations that extend platform capabilities and accelerate delivery.
• Partner with product, design, security, and data teams to deliver cross-functional solutions to complex compliance and CX problems.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-traffic services leveraging event-driven architectures, caching, load balancing, and observability tooling across AWS and Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers on design patterns, coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment best practices to raise the overall quality bar for the team.
