Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build a cutting-edge generative AI platform powering autonomous agentic workflows across security products. The role emphasizes production‑level systems, security, and resilience in real‑world scale deployments.

You will own features end‑to‑end, contribute to observability, and drive architectural decisions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid office setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of a generative AI platform powering agentic workflows across Trellix security products.
• Own end-to-end features from concept through production, including testing and operational health.
• Develop and optimize multi-agent pipelines, tool usage, and auto-decision workflows for security operations.
• Deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget, meeting customer commitments.
• Implement resilience and security best practices for sensitive security data.
• Design instrumentation with OpenTelemetry and surface health insights to engineering leadership.
• Prepare detailed design docs, architectural decisions, and async-friendly specs.
• Own production incidents end-to-end: triage, RCA, post-mortems, SLA commitments.
