Overview: CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a team in the Ft. Meade area.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements for the Data Transport System (DTS).
2. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
3. Debug existing software and correct defects.
4. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
5. Provide application development involving high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed computing environments.
6. Experience with enterprise-grade/server-side JAVA is required.

Additional Role Details:

The position is located in Columbia, MD, supporting the DTS portfolio, which facilitates the movement of time-critical data in near real-time for local stakeholders, the Intelligence Community, DoD, and other federal partners. The portfolio handles data streams, messages, and files of various sizes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Apache Hadoop, HDFS, and MapReduce.
• Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Apache Accumulo, Hadoop, and Zookeeper deployments.
• Knowledge of Spring Framework and Dependency Injection.
• Proficiency in Linux systems.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and containers (Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat).
• Understanding of Public Key Enabling (PKE).

Minimum Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 4-10 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar scope projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Java, Linux, Spring Framework, RESTful services, and software configuration management tools.
• Potential CWIP Requirements: IAM Level I Certification.

Compensation:
