Software Test Engineer (TS/SCI w/Poly Required)

Join to apply for the Software Test Engineer (TS/SCI w/Poly Required) role at SA Photonics, a CACI Company.

This position is based in Columbia, MD, supporting the Data Transport System (DTS) portfolio, which provides infrastructure, data protocols, and applications to move time-critical data in near real-time for stakeholders including the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal partners.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to analyze system requirements, develop evaluation and test plans, and conduct data collection and analysis of test results. You will create Test and Evaluation (T&E) strategies, Master Plans, Test Plans, and T&E Reports, working within a cross-functional team including software engineers, system engineers, and system administrators.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance analysis and data collection.
• Validate and adapt modeling and simulation for T&E use.
• Apply statistical analysis to characterize performance behavior.
• Develop evaluation plans, analysis plans, risk assessments, and evaluation reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 2-8 years of testing experience, or equivalent experience.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Current IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Experience testing products in Java or GoLang, and working with Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS.
• Knowledge in areas such as Public Key Enabling, RESTful services, Java, Perl, SSL, LDAP, Linux, IDEs, and Agile Scrum.

Desired Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium.
• Knowledge of ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka.

Additional Information
