Job summary

SageCor Solutions in Maryland is seeking a Software Engineer with TS/SCI w/ Polygraph to join our growing engineering team. The candidate will contribute to high-performance computing and data analytics projects, develop Linux-based tooling, and implement REST interfaces.

Responsibilities include scripting in Bash/Python, containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD with GitLab, and database work with MySQL. Familiarity with Django, Celery, Jira/Confluence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or Bachelor's plus 2 years SWE experience).
• Four years of SWE experience in similar scope is acceptable.

Required Experience

SWE-1 Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Required Skills

• - Experience using the Linux CLI
• - Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
• - Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
• - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• - Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL
• - Experience with designing and implementing REST interfaces
• - Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
• - Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills

• - Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools including Jira and Confluence
• - Experience with the Django Web framework
• - Experience with the Celery Task Scheduler
• - Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• - Familiar with creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
