Job summary

SageCor Solutions in Maryland serves the Greater Washington D.C. area with full lifecycle system engineering services and high-performance computing expertise. This role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and a strong background in enterprise Java development.

You will design RESTful services, work with relational databases, containers, and CI/CD pipelines within Agile teams. Experience with Angular, microservices, DevSecOps, and secure deployments is a plus for this exciting program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience developing Java enterprise applications using Spring Boot or similar modern frameworks.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker or Podman), Kubernetes, or similar deployment platforms.
• Experience in Agile development environments using Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Candidates without Bachelors degrees will require an additional 4 years of software engineering experience.

• Minimum oftwelve (12)years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Experience developing Java enterprise applications using Spring Boot or similar modern frameworks.

• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar technologies.

• Experience with container technologies (Docker or Podman), Kubernetes, or other modern application deployment platforms.

• Experience working in Agile development environments using Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing Angular or other modern web applications.

• Experience with microservices architecture, application modernization, or cloud-native software development.

• Experience implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.

• Experience tuning SQL performance and supporting high-volume enterprise applications.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence to support Agile software development.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills across application, database, and deployment technologies.

• Experience supporting enterprise software within secure or classified environments.
