Job summary

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

• Minimum ofseven (7) yearsof software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing Java enterprise applications usingSpring Boot(or similar frameworks) andAngular(or comparable front-end technologies).

• Experience designing and implementingRESTful APIsand integrating applications with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or other relational databases.

• Experience with application modernization, including Spring Boot migrations, microservices, and database modernization initiatives.

• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting containerized applications usingDocker,Podman, andKubernetesplatforms (e.g., Rancher, Amazon EKS, OpenShift).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts including Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Persistent Volumes, Helm charts, and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience implementingGitLab CI/CDpipelines, automated testing, DevSecOps practices, and modern software delivery processes.

• Experience usingJiraandConfluencein Agile environments, providing database operational support, and working with XML, JSON, or other structured data formats.
