The Role:

We’re looking for aSoftware Engineerwho thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll help us build and scale IhaCo’s platform — including our AI recruiter tools, client dashboards, and internal automation systems. From backend logic to sleek frontend interfaces, you’ll touch every layer of our stack and play a key role in shaping our tech and product roadmap.

This is aremoteposition, butyou must be based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks and tools
• Build secure APIs and robust backend systems to power automation, analytics, and user dashboards
• Create clean, intuitive frontend interfaces that enhance client and internal workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, operations, and product teams to release features quickly
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong documentation and test coverage
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration processes
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across the application stack
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ yearsof professional experience in software development
• Proficient inNode.js, Python, or another modern backend language
• Strong knowledge ofReact, Vue, or Angularand modern frontend development
• Experience withRESTful APIs,PostgreSQLor other relational databases
• Familiarity withGit, CI/CD tools, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker)
• Solid understanding of application security and performance best practices
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership

Bonus Points For:

• Experience withAI/ML APIs(e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, etc.)
• Prior work onjob boards, ATS platforms, or HR tech systems
• Comfort working withAWS, Firebase, or other cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge ofautomated testing frameworks(Jest, Cypress, Pytest, etc.)
