Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a client in Jersey City, New Jersey. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered software with a focus on Python development and scalable architectures.

Join a collaborative team working with AI/ML models, LLMs, and RAG to deliver real-world solutions. The role requires 5+ years of experience and strong Python expertise in Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Rate is $55–$65/hour, negotiable based on experience and location.

Akkodis is seeking a software engineer for one of our clients in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Rate Range: $55.00/hour to $65.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong emphasis on Python development.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML applications in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks including Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience developing solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and modern AI agent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API development, microservices architecture, and scalable system design.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with model deployment, monitoring, and optimization best practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies and modern web development frameworks is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for emerging AI technologies and continuous learning.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
