Job summary

Akkodis is seeking several full-stack software engineers for a client in Charlotte, NC. The roles focus on building scalable backend services in a cloud-native enterprise environment, delivering high-performance APIs, and collaborating with architects, product owners, QA, and other developers in a hybrid setting.

The positions require 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong Java and Spring Boot skills, experience with Python, microservices, RESTful APIs, Angular frontend work, and

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Some experience with Python is required.
  • Experience developing and supporting microservices architectures.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Good experience with developing frontend components using recent versions of Angular.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency with Git and modern source control practices.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.

Job description

Akkodis is seeking several full-stack software engineers for a client in Charlotte, NC.

Rate Range: $55.00/hour to $62.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy building scalable backend systems in enterprise environments, developing high-performance APIs, and working within a modern cloud-native environment. You will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, QA teams, and fellow developers to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that support business-critical initiatives.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in-office.

Please note, we cannot work on C2C basis for this role.

  • Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or other AI application orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus.
  • Experience working within highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security principles.
