Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a team responsible for the hot path of the DSQL Dataplane. You will mentor engineers with expertise in distributed systems and databases, owning the full development life cycle and operation of services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience developing large-scale distributed systems using Java, C#, or C++.
Experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
Experience in service-oriented architecture and distributed programming.
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns across the software lifecycle.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

Lead a strong team of software engineers responsible for hot-path query processing.
Mentor and coach engineers with expertise in distributed systems and databases.
