You will mentor engineers, collaborate with executives on targets, and shape product direction while hiring and growing a high‑performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years of designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for growing and leading a database software development team for cloud-based services.
• Shape a culture of innovation and help engineers realize their potential.
• Mentor a team of engineers, contribute hands-on technical work, guide design tradeoffs and prioritization.
• Collaborate with senior executives to develop targets and resource needs, influence strategy.
• Define groundbreaking products and hire/lead the team.
