Job summary

Rethink First is seeking a hands‑on software development leader to manage a team delivering reliable, secure, and scalable SaaS solutions. You will coach engineers, ensure delivery quality, and drive responsible AI usage within a disciplined lifecycle.

You’ll partner with Product, Operations, Support, Security, and customers to align priorities, manage technical debt, and raise team health metrics, while advancing modernization and agile practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or web development experience.
• 2+ years leading engineers as a manager or technical lead.
• Proven success delivering SaaS, web, mobile, or cloud‑based software products.
• Strong technical foundation in modern development practices and cloud platforms.
• Experience building healthy development team practices and AI‑assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Lead one frontend, backend, or full‑stack team through planning, execution, and delivery.
• Mentor engineers with coaching, feedback, and growth plans.
• Translate roadmaps into achievable team delivery plans and user stories.
• Guide design discussions, review code, and support proof‑of‑concept work.
• Improve engineering execution with Agile practices, testing, and automation.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align priorities with business needs.
• Foster ownership, quality, trust, and continuous improvement.
