Job summary

RethinkFirst seeks a Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer to build cloud-based applications and infrastructure for a growing client base. You’ll design, test, and deploy websites, maintain existing functionality, and leverage Microsoft tech with a strong emphasis on SOLID design and AI-assisted tooling.

The role emphasizes collaboration, code quality, and scalable architectures. Remote-friendly with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, parental leave, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
• 5+ years of development experience.
• Proficient with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• 3+ years of Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience developing and deploying IaC.
• Deep understanding of domain and event driven design.
• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns.
• Understanding of design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficient with Git and unit/integration testing.
• Daily use of AI development tools like Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications, micro-services, and infrastructure for the Rethink First platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Use AI development tools as part of daily workflow and promote responsible AI usage.
• Analyze and optimize applications for efficiency and performance.
• Promote robust and maintainable code with clear documentation under tight schedules.
