Job summary

TherapyNotes LLC seeks a Software Development Manager to provide people leadership and technical guidance across agile teams. You will influence talent, processes, and high‑quality delivery while guiding responsible AI adoption. This hybrid role requires onsite presence one to two days weekly.

You'll lead engineers across web tech stacks, partnering with Product and other stakeholders to align roadmaps and ensure successful execution, while fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience directly managing software development teams.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with web development and Agile.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong foundation in OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and modern web tech.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop multiple agile development teams with accountability.
• Partner with Product Management to align roadmaps and priorities.
• Oversee staffing, backlog grooming, code reviews, deployments, and system health.
• Drive process improvements and responsible AI adoption across projects.
• Communicate priorities and expectations across leadership and teams.
