Job summary

Legence is offering a Summer Internship in Long Beach, CA for students majoring in Software Development. Interns will work with the Software Development team in an in-office setting, gaining hands-on experience on client projects and site visits.

The program lasts 10–12 weeks, starting in June with opportunities to participate in training and mentoring. Note that the role is designed for undergraduates and graduates, with hourly pay of $24 for undergraduates and $26 for graduates.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Software Development.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.

Internship Program

The internship program aims to offer a positive work/training experience aligned with career goals and education level. Interns will be part of the Software Development team, gaining hands-on experience in office and field settings and actively contributing to client projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure, including visits to project sites and internal training opportunities, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events.

Schedule

The Summer Internship lasts 10-12 weeks, starting in June and ending in August - September, depending on the candidate's availability.

Responsibilities

Project Support

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
