Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to research, design, develop, and test operating systems–level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations.

You will design, develop, and debug software for new products and create tools for design and infrastructure. Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field and expertise in Python/C/C++, CUDA, Git, OS kernel development, and GPU architectures.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience with OS-level software, compilers, and system development is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Python, C/C++, CUDA and Git is required.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test operating systems–level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
• Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms.
• Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design, solving complex problems.
• Work on systems-level software with knowledge of computer engineering and engineering science.
