Job summary

AMD, Inc. is seeking an SMTS Software System Design Engineer to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations.

You will work on software for semiconductor products, developing tools for electronic design and infrastructure. Requirements include a Master’s degree in CS/CE/EE or related field and 3 years of relevant experience; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and/or network distribution software for semiconductor operations.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software for enhancements and new semiconductor products.
• Develop software and tools in support of electronic design, infrastructure and technology platforms.
• Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design.
