Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join Xilinx, Inc., to design, develop, and test OS-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations. You will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software for enhancements and new products, and build tools supporting design and technology platforms.

Travel is not required. A Master’s degree in a related field is expected, with strong skills in Python/Java, OS kernel

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a related field.
• Experience in software and hardware verification.
• Programming experience in Python or Java.
• Knowledge of CPU/GPU/SoC architecture and OS kernel development.
• Strong memory management and multi-threading fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux/Windows/macOS internals is a plus.
• Ability to debug software across OS boundaries.
