Job summary

TaxSlayer in Augusta, GA seeks a highly skilled Software Developer to design and build scalable microservices and full‑stack solutions. You’ll work across C#/.NET backend, Azure services, and React frontends in a hybrid setup that balances collaboration with flexibility.

You’ll contribute to cloud‑native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling while mentoring peers and delivering high‑impact features in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong communication across technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience in financial services domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and modernize C#/.NET applications including Web APIs and MVC apps.
• Develop reliable backend services and message‑driven workflows for high throughput systems.
• Design, tune, and troubleshoot SQL Server workloads and indexing plans.
• Build React applications using TypeScript and modern frontend patterns.
• Create and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes patterns.
