TaxSlayer, LLC is seeking a Software Developer in Augusta, GA. This hybrid role combines on-site collaboration two days per week with remote work three days per week in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will design and build scalable .NET microservices, modern frontend with React/TypeScript, and containerized services running in Docker/Kubernetes. Collaboration across teams and a strong testing culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong C# and ASP.NET Core Web API experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed backend systems.
• Solid OO design and patterns knowledge.
• Experience across modern and legacy .NET codebases.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and modernize C#/.NET applications including Web APIs and microservices.
• Develop backend services and message-driven workflows for high-throughput systems.
• Design and tune SQL Server workloads, including indexing and execution plans.
• Build React apps using TypeScript and modern frontend patterns.
• Create services that run in Docker/Kubernetes clusters.
• Integrate apps with Azure services like Key Vault and Blob Storage.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Use observability tools (Grafana) to monitor production.
• Write automated tests (xUnit/Jest/Playwright).
• Lead code reviews and mentor engineers.
