Job summary

TaxSlayer is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer for a hybrid role based in Augusta, GA. You will design and build scalable backend services with microservices, ASP.NET Core Web API, and modern frontend with React/TypeScript.

You'll work across cloud and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), implement CI/CD in Azure DevOps, and collaborate in an Agile team to deliver high-performance financial software solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong C# and ASP.NET Core Web API experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Solid OO design fundamentals and design patterns.
• Ability to work across modern and legacy .NET codebases.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and modernize C# applications including Web APIs and microservices.
• Develop backend services and message-driven workflows for high throughput systems.
• Design and optimize SQL Server workloads and queries.
• Create React frontends using TypeScript and modern patterns.
• Containerize services with Docker; operate in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in code reviews.
