Job summary

DRW in Chicago is seeking a Software Developer to join a dynamic team of technologists, quantitative researchers, and traders. You will design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software powering trading strategies and risk analysis, with emphasis on low-latency performance.

You will work across the full technology stack, collaborating with teammates to balance speed, features, and cost while advancing data handling, visualization, and system integration capabilities.

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline, with graduation expected between December 2026 and June 2027.
Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
Experience in multi‑threading, API design, data processing, and UI development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software powering trading strategies and systems.
Analyze and tune system performance to improve efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with teammates to balance speed, features, and cost across the technology stack.
