Job summary

DRW is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Cumberland/Options Data in Chicago. You will own data products, design time-series data pipelines, and build batch and real-time processing systems.

Collaborate with traders and researchers, implement APIs for fast data access, work across Python, Java, and C++, and operate high-throughput Linux services. This role includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience working directly with end customers on production systems.
• Ability to navigate fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and engineers.
• Background in financial markets, delta one or FICC options.

Responsibilities

• Own data products from concept through production.
• Design, build, and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Develop APIs for fast historical and live data retrieval.
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and other engineers.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
