Software Developer IV with Security Clearance

Overview: Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Software Developer IV to join the Portfolio Operations team, supporting a large, multi-year contract for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data through testing and validation, complying with policies and regulations.
• Write basic queries and create or update data conversion programs.
• Run payrolls for testing and reconciliation.
• Create comprehensive test plans.
• Verify employee data, pay rates, and deductions; reconcile pay results.
• Conduct regression testing to prevent errors in payroll functionality.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve payroll data issues.
• Conduct peer reviews and document configurations.
• Perform unit testing and support application enhancements and defect fixes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, results, and resolutions.
• Mentor junior team members.
