Job summary

Robert E. Mason & Associates, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Level II Software Developer to support enterprise applications and software products.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and support systems across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud services. The role emphasizes secure development, modernizing software and integration architecture, including Azure cloud services, CI/CD automation, and IaC.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development on enterprise applications or similar systems.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting business and web applications, APIs, and cloud services.
• Strong understanding of REST, HTTP, JSON, and authentication/authorization concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into working code and technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software across frontend, backend, API, integration, database, and cloud layers.
• Develop web applications and reusable UI components using React.
• Create and consume REST/OData APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Develop and support IFS Cloud/ERP solutions and related enterprise applications.
• Develop and deploy Azure solutions and participate in CI/CD automation and IaC.
• Apply secure development practices including authentication, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
• Participate in QA, code reviews, release validation, and production support.
