Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Software Developer to design and build software applications across the company and its affiliates.

You will gather requirements, plan builds, code, debug, test, review, and troubleshoot throughout the SDLC with AI-assisted practices. You will collaborate with the Application Development team to modernize legacy tools, deliver new apps, and ensure secure, efficient development.

Qualifications

Proficiency in programming with C# and LINQ.
Experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Razor Pages.
Frontend skills in HTML/CSS/JS; familiarity with Kendo UI/jQuery is a plus.
Exposure to React is a plus but not required.
Cloud familiarity with AWS or Azure is beneficial.
Familiarity with AI coding assistants and prompt engineering is preferred.
Strong IDE and Git usage; understanding SDLC and best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications, websites, and systems for MJE and subsidiaries.
Gather end-user requirements; craft build plans and project scopes.
Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and code reviews while ensuring accuracy, security, and standards.
Create and maintain user docs; train users as needed.
Support 100% SOX compliance and adhere to company policies.
Stay current with AI/ML development tools and apply them securely.
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and deliver timely results.
