LMI is seeking a Software Developer, Applications/AI Automation Engineer to build automation and AI-enabled applications for VA modernization. You will work across no-code, low-code, and full-code approaches, delivering production-ready components and APIs with secure coding, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years in application development, automation engineering, or software delivery.
• Strong coding in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Java with API/integration experience.
• Experience choosing no-code/low-code/full-code approaches based on security and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Build automation, AI-enabled applications, prototypes, integrations, APIs, and production-ready software components.
• Choose the simplest approved implementation across no-code, low-code, and full-code options.
• Develop and troubleshoot APIs, scripts, services, prompts, agents, and automation logic.
