Job summary

Imperial Brady in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Software Developer to build and maintain scalable application features that support our growing distribution and solutions platform. You will work closely with the Technical Lead, Architects, Product Owners, QA, and other team members in an Agile environment.

The Software Developer will be guided by a Technical Lead and will increase ownership of core components and business capabilities over time.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, React and Next.js.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Experience using Git and modern source control practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement application features and enhancements based on technical designs and requirements.
• Develop and maintain applications using Node.js, React, Next.js
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leads to understand business requirements and technical expectations.
• Contribute to story estimation and sprint planning activities.
• Work closely with other developers, QA engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions and solution reviews.

This role will work closely with the Technical Lead, Architects, Product Owners, QA, and other team members to develop, test, and support application features. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Node.js, Microservices, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS and enjoys building maintainable, scalable software in an Agile development environment.

The Software Developer will receive technical direction from the Technical Lead and grow toward increasing ownership of application components and business capabilities.

Compensation Range: $100,000 to $120,000 + Bonus

Salary range reflects the Jersey City, NJ market & compensation may vary based on geographic location.

You Will
