Job summary

Imperial Dade in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a hands-on Software Developer to deliver high‑quality code in an Agile team. You will collaborate with the Technical Lead, Architects, Product Owners, and QA to develop features using Node.js, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

This role focuses on building maintainable software, implementing features and RESTful APIs, and growing toward ownership of application components and business capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with: Node.js, React and Next.js.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams with Git and modern source control practices.

This role will work closely with the Technical Lead, Architects, Product Owners, QA, and other team members to develop, test, and support application features. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Node.js, Microservices, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS and enjoys building maintainable, scalable software in an Agile development environment

This position is a hands‑on development role focused on delivering high-quality code, participating in team collaboration, and continuously improving technical skills. The Software Developer will receive technical direction from the Technical Lead and grow toward increasing ownership of application components and business capabilities.

Compensation Range: $100,000 to $120,000 + Bonus

Salary range reflects the Jersey City, NJ market & compensation may vary based on geographic location.

You will:
