Job summary

CFS in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Software Developer to join a growing development team to build, upgrade, and support internal and customer-facing business applications, websites and the in-house ERP system. The ideal candidate has experience with C#/.NET, SQL, APIs, and WinForms, and works in a collaborative environment to enhance internal websites and their ERP system.

Responsibilities include delivering new features, integrations, testing, and maintaining applications, with a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Experience with C#/.NET, Visual Basic, JSON and APIs.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs.
• Experience with WinForms and SQL Server.
• Understanding of layered architecture and modern software design principles.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience using GitHub.
• Good communication skills.
• Interest in AI tools like Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT.

Job Overview: The Software Developer will be joining a growing development team to help build, upgrade, and support internal and customer-facing business applications, websites and in-house ERP system. The ideal candidate has experience building applications with C#/.NET, SQL, utilizing APIs, and working within a collaborative development team to enhance internal websites and their ERP system.

Responsibilities Of The Software Developer

• Building new features, updates & integrations for both websites and ERP system and maintaining current applications
• Develops programs or scripts according to specification and established coding standards and analyzes, reviews and tests for accuracy and optimal performance.
• Performs integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Constructs various software components and validates completeness and quality.
• Analyzes and resolves program/script or system failures.
• Performs software system maintenance and support.

Preferred Experience of the Software Developer

• Strong experience with C#/.NET, Visual Basic, JSON
• Experience developing and consuming APIs
• Experience with WinForms
• Understanding of layered architecture and modern software design principles
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, creating & modifying SQL queries
• Experience working and developing applications for ERP systems
