Job summary

CFS in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Software Developer to join a growing development team to build, upgrade, and support internal and customer-facing business applications, websites and the in-house ERP system. The ideal candidate has experience with C#/.NET, SQL, APIs, and WinForms, and works in a collaborative environment to enhance internal websites and their ERP system.

Responsibilities include delivering new features, integrations, testing, and maintaining applications, with a hybrid work

Qualifications

Experience with C#/.NET, Visual Basic, JSON and APIs.
Experience developing and consuming APIs.
Experience with WinForms and SQL Server.
Understanding of layered architecture and modern software design principles.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience with Azure cloud services.
Experience using GitHub.
Good communication skills.
Interest in AI tools like Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

Building new features, updates & integrations for websites and ERP system and maintaining current applications
Develops programs or scripts according to specification and coding standards and tests for accuracy and performance
Performs integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability, and performance
Constructs software components and validates quality
Analyzes and resolves program/script or system failures
Performs software system maintenance and support
