Job summary

CFS is seeking a Software Developer in Wyoming, MI (Hybrid) to join a growing development team building and upgrading internal and customer-facing applications and an in-house ERP system. You will work with C#/.NET, SQL, APIs, and modern software practices in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes maintaining current applications, integrating features, and supporting the ERP ecosystem while leveraging AI tools to improve processes. Strong communication and team collaboration are key.

Qualifications

Strong experience with C#/.NET, Visual Basic and JSON.
Experience developing and consuming APIs.
Experience with WinForms.
Understanding of layered architecture and modern software design principles.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries.
Experience developing applications for ERP systems.
Exposure to Azure cloud services.
Experience using GitHub.
Good communication skills.
Interest in AI tools like Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

Builds new features, updates and integrations for websites and ERP system and maintains current applications.
Develops programs or scripts per specifications with coding standards and tests for accuracy and performance.
Performs integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability and performance.
Constructs software components and validates quality and completeness.
Analyzes and resolves program/script or system failures.
Performs software system maintenance and support.

Job Overview: The Software Developer will be joining a growing development team to help build, upgrade, and support internal and customer-facing business applications, websites and in-house ERP system. The ideal candidate has experience building applications with C#/.NET, SQL, utilizing APIs, and working within a collaborative development team to enhance internal websites and their ERP system.

Responsibilities Of The Software Developer

Building new features, updates & integrations for both websites and ERP system and maintaining current applications
Develops programs or scripts according to specification and established coding standards and analyzes, reviews and tests for accuracy and optimal performance.
Performs integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.
Constructs various software components and validates completeness and quality.
Analyzes and resolves program/script or system failures.
Performs software system maintenance and support.
