Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Engineer to advance the virtualized PLC platform and software-defined infrastructure for frontier compute. You will port and validate control applications, build test harnesses, and define reference architecture for software-based controls.

Ideal candidates have PLC programming experience (IEC 61131), familiarity with virtualization, and a disciplined approach to deterministic runtime behavior, safety, and documentation of control

Qualifications

Experience programming industrial controls and PLC platforms.
Familiarity with IEC 61131 languages and verification of control logic.
Experience with virtualization or software-based control runtimes.
Ability to document control narratives for engineers and operators.

Responsibilities

Engineer the virtualized PLC platform: software-defined infrastructure.
Port and validate control applications onto virtual runtimes with determinism and safety.
Build test harnesses that prove virtual controls against hardware behavior.
Define the reference architecture: networking, redundancy, and failover for controls as software.
