Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an Engineer to automate commissioning for its data-center control systems. You will implement test sequences in the controls layer, and develop a robust test library covering devices and sequences from the reference design.

You will run commissioning on live sites, analyze failures with field teams, and push fixes upstream to improve controls standards. Experience with BMS/PLC and data-center environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

You've commissioned building or data center control systems hands-on.
You've written the test procedures, not just executed them.
You program BMS or PLC platforms well enough to embed tests in logic.
You analyze trend data to find the failure the point check missed.
You've turned repeat findings into upstream fixes.
Bonus: L4 and L5 commissioning at scale. Tridium, ALC, Siemens, or PLC platforms. Analytics tooling. Electrical commissioning interface.

Responsibilities

Engineer automated commissioning from the controls side: test sequences written into the control layer itself.
Build the functional test library: every device and sequence in the reference design with an automated test to match.
Run automated commissioning on live sites: execute, analyze, and disposition failures with the field team.
Feed results upstream: design and controls standards fixed where tests keep failing.
