Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a versatile engineer with a strong background in software development and project management to engage with external customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will monitor feedback around releases, triage issues, and help scale workflows using automation and AI-powered tools.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of experience in engineering or related fields, excellent communication, and hands-on scripting skills.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field.
4+ years of software engineering, project management, or related experience.
Ability to debug hard problems and perform root cause analysis.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Programming and scripting skills; hands-on experience with generative AI and LLMs.

Responsibilities

Interact with external customers and collaborate with program management and engineering teams.
Monitor pre- and post-release public feedback to identify and call out new issues in the field.
Report on progress of seeding programs, assessment of incoming feedback, and other project status.
Develop and improve tools to automate, scale, and optimize workflows.
Investigate issues reported by our outside users through test reproduction, debugging, and diagnostics analysis.
Review bugs and work with engineering teams to triage and appropriately prioritize response for top customer related issues.
Identify trends and insights from large and complex data sets.
