Job summary

Socket.dev is hiring senior engineers to build fast, AI-first agentic systems. You will design, ship, and operate productions that combine large language models, tools, planning, memory, and multi-agent communication.

You will work primarily in Python for AI services and integrate with our enterprise stack (TypeScript/Angular, .NET/C#, SQL Server, Azure), delivering trustworthy, cost-efficient, low-latency experiences in real customer workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building LLM-powered apps with Azure OpenAI, embeddings, vector stores, RAG, prompt engineering, and evaluation pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic AI applications on Azure AI Foundry: Azure OpenAI, Prompt Flow, tools, evaluations, vector search, and orchestration.
• Design memory architectures (episodic/semantic/vector) and RAG pipelines to reduce latency and cost.
• Develop agent-to-agent communication and MCP services for standardized tool access and workflows.
• Connect agents to Microsoft Fabric and Dataverse for grounding data and telemetry.
• Build backend services in Python (FastAPI) with observability and cost/latency dashboards.
• Work with Frontend/Enterprise stack: TypeScript/Angular, .NET/C#, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps.
