Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a versatile engineer with a strong background in software development and project management to engage with external customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will monitor feedback around releases, triage issues, and help scale workflows using automation and AI-powered tools.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of experience in engineering or related fields, excellent communication, and hands-on scripting skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering, project management, or related experience.
• Ability to debug hard problems and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Programming and scripting skills; hands-on experience with generative AI and LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with external customers and collaborate with program management and engineering teams.
• Monitor pre- and post-release public feedback to identify and call out new issues in the field.
• Report on progress of seeding programs, assessment of incoming feedback, and other project status.
• Develop and improve tools to automate, scale, and optimize workflows.
• Investigate issues reported by our outside users through test reproduction, debugging, and diagnostics analysis.
• Review bugs and work with engineering teams to triage and appropriately prioritize response for top customer related issues.
• Identify trends and insights from large and complex data sets.

Minimum Qualifications
