Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to build modern web applications, developer tools, and AI-powered workflows for aerospace and defense customers. You’ll work across the stack—from React/TypeScript frontend to Python and Go backend—delivering secure, high-performance systems for mission-critical use.

You’ll collaborate with product and design, ship end-to-end features, and contribute to AI tooling, CI/CD, and robust development environments in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience building backend systems in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Demonstrated ability to ship full-stack features end-to-end.
• Product-minded: you seek to understand the “why,” not just implement tickets.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Must be a US citizen living within the United States.
