Job summary

KBR is seeking a Specialist, IT Software Asset Administration (SAM) to support software asset lifecycle, licensing, and compliance across the enterprise in Houston. You will maintain asset records, run reports, and collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in SAM/ITAM, familiarity with licensing models (SaaS, subscriptions), and hands-on experience with asset systems such as ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or business.
• 2+ years in SAM/ITAM or licensing.
• Experience with asset management systems or license tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and tracking of software assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain records of licenses, subscriptions, contracts and installations.
• Assist with SAM activities using ServiceNow SAM Pro or similar tools.
• Support license reconciliation, normalization and reporting.
• Monitor usage and identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings.
• Assist with audit readiness and data gathering.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and business teams.
• Generate and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics.
