Job summary

Peek IT Services is seeking a remote Software Asset Management professional to manage the full lifecycle in ServiceNow SAM Pro. This offshore remote role requires overlap with Eastern Time and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Asset Management experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow SAM Pro experience.
• Knowledge of software licensing and compliance practices.
• Ability to overlap with Eastern Time business hours and communicate in English.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage software asset lifecycle activities from request through retirement within ServiceNow SAM Pro.
• Maintain software entitlements, contracts and license records.
• Perform compliance reviews and support software audits.
• Identify unused and underutilized licenses and execute reclamation and optimization activities.
• Monitor software inventory, normalization and discovery data quality.
• Partner with Procurement on software purchasing and renewal decisions, and coordinate harvesting, reclamation and redeployment.
• Develop compliance, utilization and cost optimization reports.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and maturity metrics.

Job description

You will manage software licenses, compliance and cost optimization inside ServiceNow SAM Pro on a long term, fully remote contract. The role is offshore remote with overlap to Eastern Time business hours, and covers the full software asset lifecycle from request through retirement. If you know licensing for publishers like Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle and IBM and enjoy reporting on utilization and savings, this is steady, hands-on work.

Requirements

• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Ability to overlap with Eastern Time business hours
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to have

• ITIL, IAITAM or ServiceNow SAM certification
• Experience supporting U.S.-based organizations
• Experience working in global asset management operations
