Job summary

Valinor Enterprises is seeking a software engineer to own architecture, data handling, and the product layer for a new sensor software stack. You will work with the GM and a small team to rapidly develop a trusted, end-to-end system turning raw sensor data into a usable picture for the end user.

The role emphasizes owning architecture for edge/embedded software, data pipelines, and multi-modal sensing, with collaboration across product enablement and the GM on tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• Architect a system with edge/embedded software or data pipelines.
• Design and operate time-series data systems and ingestion pipelines.
• Work across backend (Python/Go) and frontend (React/TS).
• Hands-on with at least one sensing domain: acoustic, EO/IR, radar.
• Own CI/CD and cloud infra (AWS preferred) without dedicated DevOps.
• Able to iterate quickly with loose specs and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Architect the software system tying data flow, processing, and UI end-to-end.
• Define interfaces with sensor integration and API work.
• Document core architecture decisions early for flexible product needs.
• Lead data handling, storage, and pipeline design to support reliable telemetry.
