Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking an SD-L1 to analyze designs and requirements, develop software and GUIs, and test across labs and assets. The role supports leadership and teams in mission-critical environments, with up to 25% travel and requirement to obtain a Secret clearance.

The candidate will work under CIO guidance, build interfaces, and contribute to software plans while embracing agile practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent (certs/experience).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to lift/carry 20–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software and hardware architectures, designs, and requirements for aircraft and surface mission systems.
• Develop system, subsystem and functional software requirements.
• Develop scripts, install applications and configure software systems to interface with MMS sensors.
• Develop interfaces to external and internal systems for tooling, configuration and data recording.
• Support installation of software on MMS hardware configurations.
• Develop GUI designs and back-end sensor interfaces (full stack).
• Develop and conduct unit, system and integration tests in labs and on assets.
• Create technical documentation for software and GUI changes.
• Collaborate with team to ensure usability and reliability.
• Travel up to 25% to meet Government requirements.
• Obtain and maintain at least a Secret clearance.
