Job summary

Valinor Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to own the architecture, data handling, and product layer of a stealth-stage software stack.

You will turn raw sensor data into a trusted, usable picture for end users, collaborating with the GM and a small engineering team to rapidly develop a new product. The role emphasizes edge/embedded software, sensor or data pipelines, and a willingness to own architecture and decisions with limited guidance, while partnering with product enablement

Qualifications

• Architecture contribution and ownership of a system with edge/embedded software.
• Experience designing time-series data systems and ingestion pipelines.
• Backend/frontend experience across Python/Go and React/TypeScript.
• Hands-on sensing/signal processing experience in at least one domain.
• Ability to own cloud infra and CI/CD in AWS.
• Step-up temperament for independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end software architecture linking data flow, processing, and UI.
• Define interfaces between sensor integration and API components.
• Architect edge vs cloud processing, storage, and data ingestion.
• Build configuration UI and geospatial visualization for customers.
