Job summary

Valinor is seeking a Firmware Engineer to develop embedded software powering connected environmental sensing systems. You’ll collaborate with electrical engineering to bring up hardware, integrate sensors, and move devices from prototypes to production-ready systems.

This hands-on role covers device drivers, provisioning, firmware updates, and field support, with ownership across hardware revisions and security considerations. A startup-like environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of firmware or embedded systems development on microcontrollers
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong C/C++ programming and RTOS experience
• Experience with hardware debugging tools and serial communication protocols

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level firmware for microcontrollers
• Bring up new hardware and sensors
• Develop device connectivity and OTA updates
• Own firmware from prototype to production and field support
