Job summary

JSM Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to drive process reengineering and requirements efforts.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to model As-Is and To-Be processes, document requirements, and translate them into technical designs for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of BA experience, strong BPM and UML/ERD skills, and a background in .NET web applications.

• 84 months experience as Lead Business Analyst applying BPM methodologies to remodel processes.
• 84 months leading Business Requirements projects documenting requirements for new applications.
• 60 months transforming legacy MS Access databases to relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• 60 months acting as a technical liaison translating business requirements into technical designs.
• 48 months using system modeling/design tools (MS Visio, UML, ERD tools) to map data structures and workflows.
• 48 months developing multi-tier .NET Framework/.NET Core apps using C# and ASP.NET MVC.
• Master's degree in computer/technology field.
• IIBA CBAP or PMI PBA certification.

• 84 months experience with internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including the development of presentations and other materials that promote the rethinking of core business processes and envisioning of a reengineered environment.
• 84 months experience working as the Lead Business Analyst on projects on which they utilized recognized business process management methodologies (e.g., elicitation and documenting of business process requirements, business process modelling, As-Is and To-Be workflow development and gap analysis, UML etc.) to define and analyze current business processes in order to remodel/design the new process and improve on the existing ones.
• 84 months experience working on Business Requirements Project, as lead Analyst, which involved the application of strategies to gather and document business process requirements of new application
• 60 Months of experience analyzing, normalizing, and transforming legacy databases (specifically MS Access) into enterprise-level relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• 60 Months of experience acting as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and application developers to translate business requirements into technical system designs.
• 48 Months of experience using system modeling and design tools (e.g., MS Visio, UML, ERD tools) to map data structures and system workflows.
• 48 months experience developing and implementing multi-tier .Net Framework and .Net Core web applications using C# code leveraging ASP.Net patterns: Web Forms and Model-View-Controller (MVC)
• Masters Degree in a computer or technology related field
• Possession of a valid (active) IIBA CBAP certification or a PMI PBA certification
