Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Retail Manager to supervise one or more Sales Departments within the store, overseeing merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, and customer service activities. The role includes staff selection, development, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.

You will be responsible for meeting financial plans, executing sales programs, and maintaining planograms set by the Corporate Office.

Qualifications

3–5 years in Retail Management leading one or more Sales Departments.
Experience interviewing and selecting staff; coordinating training and performance reviews.
Strong numeric, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise one or more Sales Departments and manage merchandise presentation, inventory, pricing, and customer service.
Meet or exceed all financial plans and implement Sales plans as directed.
Open and close the store and assume Manager on Duty responsibilities.
Staff departments with service-oriented associates; interview, hire, train, and evaluate performance; plan schedules.
Resolve customer and associate issues and ensure a legendary customer experience.
