1X is building a team to transform ambitious softgoods ideas into real-world products. The role focuses on mechanical design, CAD, and fabrication, ensuring manufacturability and quality from concept to production.

You will collaborate across disciplines to move fast while maintaining craftsmanship in a fully on-site setting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a relevant engineering degree, and a strong portfolio.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in hardware design and prototyping.
• Portfolio required showcasing professional work and passion projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Drive softgoods products from concept through production.
• Build prototypes, tooling, and fixtures for quality and repeatability.
• Partner with designers, engineers, manufacturers, and vendors to keep development moving.
• Develop repeatable assembly, bonding, and fabrication workflows.
• Lead new technology intro and proactively surface risks.
