Job summary

Volo is seeking part-time softball Umpires to ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for players across our community leagues. You will understand and fairly enforce the sport’s rules, communicate with the office about equipment and game issues, and call plays confidently from the field.

We value punctuality, professionalism and a passion for sports. Availability for eight weeks with weekday evenings (5:30pm–10:00pm) and weekend mornings (9am–3pm) is required, and reliable

Qualifications

• Must have played the sport before and be familiar with the rules (Softball/Baseball).
• Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks, with weekday 5:30pm-10:00pm or weekend 9am-3pm slots.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from field locations.
• Must be a confident, loud individual ready to make calls on the field.

Job Description

This opportunity is listed for Softball Umpires only. Softball Umpires are responsible for understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. This is a part-time role, great for anyone who likes being outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players
