Job summary

Volo Sports in Boston is seeking a part-time League Host to represent the company at facilities and bars, manage weekly participant communications, and keep league scores updated in our user interface.

You will promote events on social media, assist with field setup, and help create a welcoming experience for players while supporting fundraising efforts for kids programs. Evening and weekend availability is required; this role offers growth within a fast-growing national movement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Volo representative at facilities and/or bars.
• Send weekly emails to league participants.
• Update league scores in our user interface.
• Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling.
• Help distribute marketing materials.
• Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league.
• Other league-day preparations, such as field setup and supervision.
• Set up & take down fields and/or Bar set up.
• Use host app to check in players as needed.
• Execute fundraising activities to support kids programs.
• Make players meet and feel welcome.
• Build relationships with bartenders.

Job Description

When you accept a position with Volo, you’ll be joining a passionate, driven group of innovators within the social sports industry. Hosts serve as representatives for Volo and its subsidiaries at facilities and bars and are the main point of contact for our players in leagues. This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company.

League Host Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Serve as a Volo representative at facilities and/or bars
• Send weekly emails to league participants
